GULAG IS BACK…
Vassily Alexanian’s speech at the Supreme Court of Russia: “I ask you to hear me out. Excuse me, your Honour, but I am also not appearing for the first time before the Supreme Court. But how much can one man stand?! Each time I am diagnosed with another serious disease … In April 2007 investigator Khatypov — I name him because some day these people will be called to account — said to my defence attorney, Yelena Lvova, who is present here: If he admits his guilt and agrees to our conditions and way of doing things, then we’ll let him go. All this time, moreover, they did not just fail to provide any treatment: they did not want to take me for further tests. That was torture. Plain, legalised torture. They say I refused treatment. That’s crazy! You are buy prescription drugs without prescription now watching me by video link, evidently in black and white. If you could see me in the court room you would be horrified. My face is marked by the traces of those diseases I now carry within me. They wanted to use me to set a precedent, to create judicial prejudice. I am lawyer myself, I understand Article 90 ["Prejudice"] of the Criminal Procedural Code. They would not then need to prove anything else against Khodorkovsky, Lebedev and other directors [in the Yukos affair]. In June 2007 my condition began to get much worse. Every day for three weeks I begged them to let me see a doctor. Instead they even limited the pain-killers I was allowed to receive. You understand what they were up to! The devil is in the details. I …

You are an idiot. Putin just took his money and that is it. How do you think Putin got his billions? Grow up you stuid fuck.
I dont know, is he guilty or not, but he is worried sick and he has need for cure. show trial…
It’s much more complicated, they want him to testify against his friend anf boss, President of the biggest oil company in Russia and he wouldn’t…he got those diseases after got inprisoned…we can only guess how!;-(((
everyone knows putin killed anna politkovskaya and litvinenko, and what the russian forces are doing in chechenia.I’ve read the very people of russia is suffering for it,because the same soldiers who become savages in chechenia, are repeating the same behaviour at their homes.some russians say they are more afraid of the police than of criminals.
That is what he is accused of… but it wasn’t illegal, he just did what the law allowed him to do.
no way! How come the world isn’t up in arms is what I want to know! I didn’t know the reason for his incarceration, just asking.Technically all prisoners have to be treated with respect and “with reasonable care” according to the Geneva convention. but Russia isn’t known for it’s following of any human rights laws so I wasn’t surprised. I feel sorry for this man because he may die in jail, but it sort of sounds like they are using him as an example to others to make sure their taxes are paid!!
He is not “innocent”, he didn’t pay taxes…but whatever it is…do u think that torturing a prisoner is normal in 21 century?
stop sending me this vidoes!!!
So then why is he arrested? I don’t see the reason in the “about this video” part. It’s sad to see him suffer if he’s innocent. Praise God for the western world and democracy, even though it’s messed up sometimes, it’s better than Russia!
I got it thanks.
I thought we was living in the morden age with basic human rights.
Why someone admit his guilt and agrees to the conditions and way of doing things?
You can see there is no basic human rights for their prison system.
Just another from of torture to get a confession.
